As a Substance Abuse Counselor, you can use your skills and expertise to provide our clients with the highest quality counseling, therapy, and case management services. You will work alongside a dedicated and passionate team who are committed to providing the best possible care to those in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling for adults
- Develop, revise, and implement treatment plans
- Participate in multi-disciplinary treatment teams, including supervision meetings and staff development/training
- Provide clinical consultation to support patients in their recovery
- Schedule appointments and collect/review referral information
- Accurately document patient progress and establish follow-up care
Requirements:
- Licensure to practice in Arizona (LAC, LPC, LASAC, LISAC, LMSW, LCSW, LAMFT, or LMFT)
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or related field
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in behavioral health/substance abuse
- Knowledge of DSM-V criteria, community resources, assessment, and crisis intervention
- Experience in an outpatient behavioral health setting
- Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions
- 18 years or older with a valid driver’s license
