Licensed Associate Substance Abuse Counselor (Contract)
Job description

As a compassionate and diligent Licensed Associate Substance Abuse Counselor, you will provide our clients best standardized counseling, therapy, and case management services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and group counseling to adult clients
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and participate in supervision meetings
- Provide clinical consultation and support to referral resources, family members, and others
- Accurately schedule appointments and meetings
- Collect and review referral information and coordinate services
- Provide progress reports and follow-up care
Requirements:
- Valid license to practice in Arizona under the provisions of the Arizona State Board of Behavioral Health Examiners
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or a related field
- 1 year of clinical experience in behavioral health/substance abuse
- Strong knowledge of DSM-V criteria and assessment and crisis intervention techniques
- Experience in a behavioral healthcare outpatient setting
- Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions
